We have several support teams in place to assist faculty as they design and teach in a virtual setting.

Empire Online is a team of instructional designers, instructional technologists, and multimedia specialists and offers university-wide services for online and blended courses in the Undergraduate, Graduate, Nursing, and International Programs. We offer a wide range of course support services including course revisions, development of new courses, educational technology support and training, and multimedia development for courses.
Please submit a service desk ticket, if you would like to meet with Empire Online staff for assistance including: Brightspace “How To’s”, Using MS Teams in Brightspace, General Course Design Consultations, Learnscape Tutorials and Plagiarism Detection tool use.
Please include:
- Times/days when you are generally available for appointments
- The course or courses that you need assistance with
- A description of what you would like to discuss
An Empire Online member will be assigned to your ticket and will contact you to set-up an appointment using service desk ticket communications.
The librarians offer a faculty toolbox that includes services, resources and tips for assignment design, research and development, resource integration, and student learning opportunities. Just ask us!
IT Service Desk helps with computer, email and other network services. We also supply a Knowledge Base giving you the ability to research your question.
